TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
